Just a quick, Cliff Notes version of “About Me.”
I was born in Tokyo but raised in North Jersey. Before getting into advertising, I was actually an economics major working in the Japanese business world.
I'm a sucker for observational comedy. The tone from 59' Gibson Les Paul’s. The word "pedantic." Any team playing the NY Giants. Ancient Egyptian history (no, for real).
Brands that have an unforgettable voice are like great comedians. The Carlin’s and the Pryor’s of the world were able to connect with an audience, in their own distinct style, with how they said “it.”
As a creative/writer, I enjoy the “what are we trying to say” part of doing business. Let’s figure that part out and more.
